Rocking Hobby Horse and Spinning Top

TopLast year while looking for photos to make Christmas cards, I came across some slides taken by my father of me of my first Christmas, 1959. The presents were simple; a rocking hobby horse and a top that would play music when spun. Of course, video games were nonexistent at that time. The only tablets were of the connect-the-dots and coloring books kind. I do remember my Tinker Toys, Erector Sets, Jonny Astro, Major Matt Mason, Etch-a Sketch, G.I. Joe (the original, not based on the cartoon), and Electric Train set. I remember my first Hot Wheels set, with the Clamp I could put anywhere. I also remember my Legos (the original, non-theme use-your-imagination). I miss those days.
