The Children's Museum is situated on 12.9 acres at the corner of 30th and North Meridian Streets, just minutes north of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. The entrance to the museum is on Illinois Street (the first street west of Meridian).

From the South:
Follow I65 north to the 29 / 30th Street exit.
Turn right onto 29th street (one way east)
Follow 29st Street east to Illinois Street.
Turn left on Illinois and continue north to 30th and Illinois.
The museum parking garage is located on the west side of Illinois Street. Visitors should take the skywalk across Illinois Street to reach the museum entrance.

From Bloomington, IN:
Follow State Road 37 north to I465 east to I65 north to the 29 / 30th Street exit.
Turn right onto 29th street (one way east)
Follow 29st Street east to Illinois Street.
Turn left on Illinois and continue north to 30th and Illinois.
The museum parking garage is located on the west side of Illinois Street. Visitors should take the skywalk across Illinois Street to reach the museum entrance.

From Columbus, IN:
Follow I65 north to the 29 / 30th Street exit.
Turn right onto 29th street (one way east)
Follow 29st Street east to Illinois Street.
Turn left on Illinois and continue north to 30th and Illinois.
The museum parking garage is located on the west side of Illinois Street. Visitors should take the skywalk across Illinois Street to reach the museum entrance.

From Evansville, IN:
Follow State Route 41 north to I70 east to I65 north to the 29 / 30th Street exit.
Turn right onto 29th street (one way east)
Follow 29st Street east to Illinois Street.
Turn left on Illinois and continue north to 30th and Illinois.
The museum parking garage is located on the west side of Illinois Street. Visitors should take the skywalk across Illinois Street to reach the museum entrance.

From Nashville, IN:
Follow State Route 135 north to McCarty Street by Shapiros Deli.
Take the left fork in the road. It will become Illinois Street.
Follow Illinois Street north to 30th and Illinois.
The museum parking garage is located on the west side of Illinois Street. Visitors should take the skywalk across Illinois Street to reach the museum entrance.

From Louisville, KY:
Follow I65 north to the 29 / 30th Street exit.
Turn right onto 29th street (one way east)
Follow 29st Street east to Illinois Street.
Turn left on Illinois and continue north to 30th and Illinois.

From Lexington, KY:
Follow I75 north to I275 west/north to I74 west to Indianapolis.
Then follow I465 south to I65 north to the 29 / 30th Street exit.
Turn right onto 29th street (one way east)
Follow 29st Street east to Illinois Street.
Turn left on Illinois and continue north to 30th and Illinois.

From Owensboro, KY:
Follow 60 east to Tell City, IN.
Follow State Road 37 north to I465 east to I65 north to the 29 / 30th Street exit.

Turn left on Illinois and continue north to 30th and Illinois.
