The Children's Museum is situated on 12.9 acres at the corner of 30th and North Meridian Streets, just minutes north of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. The entrance to the museum is on Illinois Street (the first street west of Meridian).

From the West
Follow I70 east to I65 north to the 29 / 30th Street exit.
Turn right onto 29th street (one way east)
Follow 29st Street east to Illinois Street.
Turn left on Illinois and continue north to 30th and Illinois.
The museum parking garage is located on the west side of Illinois Street. Visitors should take the skywalk across Illinois Street to reach the museum entrance.

From the Indianapolis Airport:
Follow the Airport Expressway east to I70 east to I65 north to the 29 / 30th Street exit.
Turn right onto 29th street (one way east)
Follow 29st Street east to Illinois Street.
Turn left on Illinois and continue north to 30th and Illinois.
The museum parking garage is located on the west side of Illinois Street. Visitors should take the skywalk across Illinois Street to reach the museum entrance.

From Terre Haute, IN:
Follow I70 east to I65 north to the 29 / 30th Street exit.
Turn right onto 29th street (one way east)
Follow 29st Street east to Illinois Street.
Turn left on Illinois and continue north to 30th and Illinois.

From Rockville, IN:
Follow State Route 36 east to I465 north to the 38th Street exit.
Turn right on 38th Street and go 5 miles to Meridian Street.
You will pass a large cemetery (Crown Hill) just before Meridian.
Turn right on Meridian and go south to 30th Street.
Turn right on 30th Street.
Go one block west to Illinois Street and turn right.

From Brownsburg, IN:
Follow I74 east to I465 north to the 38th Street exit.
Turn right on 38th Street and go 5 miles to Meridian Street.

Turn right on 30th Street.
Go one block west to Illinois Street and turn right.
