The flexibility of this program allows staff to utilize days based upon their specific time off needs.
PTO days are advanced based upon the month of hire and then by years of service.

Museum pays 90% of staff member’s premium and 55% of dependent coverage costs

Museum pays in full. Disability benefit is 60 – 75% salary depending upon years of service.

Museum pays in full for term life insurance equal to two times salary up to $200,000

Staff member elects pre-tax deduction amount up to $5000/year for medical and/or dependent care expenses

Museum pays in full for confidential counseling services for full-time staff and others residing at their home address
Retirement savings plan - 403b
Staff are eligible to participate in the program as of date of hire. Staff elect tax-deferred contribution amount and museum begins contribution (2 – 4%) and matching contribution (50 – 100%) after one year of service. Contribution and matching amounts vary depending upon salary and years of service.
Continuing education program*
Museum reimburses a maximum of $2000/year for payments made for courses and certain related expenses at the undergraduate and graduate level.
