Part-Time Staff Benefits

  • Complimentary Museum Membership
  • PTO (Paid Time Off) program – available after 1st year*
    • The flexibility of this program allows staff to utilize days based upon their specific time off needs.
  • Retirement savings plan - 403b**
    • Staff are eligible to participate in the program as of date of hire. Staff elect tax-deferred contribution amount and museum begins contribution (2 – 4%) and matching contribution (50 – 100%) after one year of service. Contribution and matching amounts vary depending upon salary and years of service.
  • Continuing education program***
    • Museum reimburses a maximum of $1000/year for payments made for courses and certain related expenses at the undergraduate or graduate level.

    *Eligibility for program requires that a minimum of 1,092 hours are worked the previous calendar year

    ***Eligibility for program requires that staff work 15 – 29 hours per week on average and must have performed one year of service
