Where can I go to learn more about rocks, fossils and minerals?
Obviously books are a good start, but you can also visit local museums and universities to see what they collect. Talk to fellow rock collectors who might have their own collections, and be willing to trade specimens or organize collecting trips. Don't forget, the absolute best way to find out more about rocks, minerals & fossils is to go outside and find some!
