About the Haunted House

Our kid-friendly Haunted House is recognized by Rand McNally as one of the Top Ten Haunted Houses in the nation and is perfect Halloween fun for all ages. The entire Haunted House is conceived, designed, decorated, organized, and staffed by volunteers from The Children's Museum Guild. More than 12,000 volunteer hours are donated! Proceeds support The Children's Museum, and now in its 49th year, the Haunted House is the museum's largest fundraiser. Families from all over come to be a part of the fun at the Haunted House.

The Guild's Haunted House is prepared for family entertainment. Lights On hours, intended for children who scare easily, allow an experience with friendly music, characters with costumes but no make-up, and all lights on. The Haunted House's Frightening Hours allow for a scarier time for older, braver children.
