The Saga of the Spud!

The loveable MR. POTATO HEAD, one of pop culture’s enduring toy celebrities, was invented in 1949 by American toy inventor George Lerner, who created the idea for a “funny man face,” which grew into Hasbro, Inc.’s popular MR. POTATO HEAD in 1952.
