We believe that young people learn best in a safe, positive environment. The Children's Museum of Indianapolis has supported community improvement projects for many years.
The museum has many community partners like neighborhood residents, civic leaders, law enforcement officers, local business representatives, and various associations, including the Mapleton Fall Creek and Near North Development Corporations. Working with our priorities, the Museum's goal is to serve as a catalyst for overall quality of life improvements in the surrounding neighborhoods, such as new or rehabilitated affordable housing units, new and improved parks and greenspaces, enhanced public safety, and vibrant educational programming for youth and families. The museum has committed financial resources and full-time staff to ensure the success of this initiative. For more information, click here.
