Community Initiatives
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis offers family learning experiences that are matched by few institutions in the world. Part of our mission is to provide an accessible, positive learning environment for children and families—including those families that cannot afford the cost of admission.
Free and Discounted Admission Programs:
- Free one-year membership for foster parents and their children
- Free one-year membership to families in any of the six surrounding museum neighborhoods, courtesy of the Neighborhood Club
- $1-a-family-member visits for low-income Hoosier families with the Access Pass
- Target Free Family Nights
We also dedicate significant financial resources and full-time staff members toward projects that improve safety, decrease crime, attract and retain local businesses and community assets, and beautify the area.
