About the Preschool
At The Children’s Museum Preschool, children are escorted by their teachers in small groups to the museum galleries on a daily basis before the museum opens to the public. They return to their state-of-the art preschool classroom to extend their museum experience through classroom projects and centers related to the arts, literacy, sciences, and humanities. More about the philosophy
NEW this year!
To attend the pre-kindergarten class, students must be four on or before Sept. 1, 2014 and will attend kindergarten the following school year (2015-2016). The pre-kindergarten clases will follow the same principles of best practice as the AM only preschool classes but will also include enriched balanced literacy instruction and math and science workshops as the students demonstrate developmental readiness.
“What is delivered is an incomparable experience. . . that has changed how we operate as a family.” - 2011-2012 preschool family
