Shaheen Family Challenge

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is pleased to announce THE SHAHEEN FAMILY CHALLENGE!  Children’s Museum benefactor, Former Board President, and longtime Trustee, Yvonne Shaheen, and her family have graciously funded a $50,000 challenge to encourage increased and new gifts to the Children’s Museum Fund before December 31, 2011.

The Shaheen Family will match, dollar-for-dollar, all gifts to the Children’s Museum Fund up to a total of $50,000 and received on or before December 31^st that meet the following criteria:

• Any new donor who did not make a gift to the Children’s Museum Fund in 2010 and who makes a gift in 2011 will have their gift matched up to $4,999.
• Any renewing donor who gave any amount less than $1,000 in 2010 and who makes a gift of any amount up to $4,999 in 2011 will have the entire amount of their 2011 gift matched.
• Any renewing donor who gave at the President’s Circle level in 2010 – i.e., between $1,000 and $4,999 – and who increases the amount of their gift in 2011 will have that increased amount matched in full. For example, a President’s Circle donor who gave $1,000 in 2010 and gives $2,500 in 2011 will have $1,500 of their new gift matched.
