Power of Children
The Power of Children
  • Only individuals are eligible for nomination; no group nominations will be accepted.
  • Nominees must be Indiana residents enrolled in grades 6–11 by the application deadline: March 31, 2008.
  • Nominators must be adults, 21 years of age or older, and reside in Indiana.
  • Nominees must have actively participated in the activities/projects during the 2007–2008 school year.
  • POCA does not discriminate against nominees with regard to gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability or religion.
  • All nominees must certify that, if selected as an award recipient, they will attend the awards presentation at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, November 2008 (date to be determined). Failure to attend will result in forfeiture of the award.
  • A nominator may submit a nomination for more than one young person; however, only one nomination per nominee will be accepted.
  • All Nomination Forms and Nominee Statements must be submitted electronically or mailed/postmarked no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2008 to:
