Protecting Your Bones
This informative site gives suggestions regarding protecting your bones, mainly from osteoporosis. It explains in-depth how to get calcium to your bones, and more importantly, how to keep it there! A fact sheet detailing the amounts of calcium in foods can also be obtained at this site.
The 10 commandments
Well, not quite the 10 Commandments, but if you follow this simple list your sure to have healthy bones. These Commandments for Healthy Bones can be printed to add an exciting visual to your classroom!
Kids Health
Children can click on "bone" to be directed to an overview of the skeletal system divided into nine sub-categories. They can also use the mouse to roll over the different body parts of a child, which are then identified.
