DESIRED OUTCOMES:

To raise a personal awareness of the importance of good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle in children and their parents, specifically related to the skeletal system.

To promote understanding of the skeletal system in the human body and to compare and contrast human bones with those of other animals.

To raise awareness of how modern medical technology is helping to further our understanding of bones.

To spark interest in different aspects of bones, both biological and cultural.

To inform upper elementary and middle school audiences of career possibilities in science.
