Before Getting Started:
Have you ever seen a life-size skeleton in the doctor's office? Well, now you can have your very own with this easy, fun activity.

Materials:
Lots of newspaper, magazines, or old school papers
4 pairs of hose (preferably white, light beige, or off-white)
Black Marker
String (Dental Floss or yarn and needle)
Tape Measure

Step 1:

Use the tape measure to fill in the following information:
Find the distance between:
1. Finger tips to Wrist __________
2. Top of Head to Chin __________
3. Length of Neck __________
4. Wrist to Elbow __________
5. Elbow to Shoulder __________
6. Length between your shoulders __________
7. Shoulder to hip ___________
8. Hip to Knee__________
9. Knee to Ankle __________
10. Foot Size __________

NO BONES ABOUT IT……Now you have gathered the information you need to make a life-size skeleton similar to the ones you see in Doctor's offices!

Step 2:
Now you need to make each of the 10 parts that you just measured. Measure and cut out sections of the hose to correspond with the measurements and sections you took in Step 1. Stuff the hose with newspaper, magazines, and/or old paper and tie each open end of the hose in a knot.
** Remember you'll want to stuff some sections extra full and others just slightly so they have the same shape and form as you do!

Step 3:
Attach the sections together with the string.

Step 4:
Label the bones with your Black Marker. Need Help? Look here:
