The Zoo
Bones give our bodies form for function and help protect our insides. Human and animal skeletons have adapted to help us move in many ways - such as running, walking, crawling, climbing, swinging, jumping or lifting.

The Superstore The Superstore
What you eat affects how your bones change and grow. Select foods high in calcium to build better bones.
The Fitness Center

The Fitness Center
What you do affects how your bones change and grow. Build better bones through exercise!

The Medical Center

The Medical Center
Bones are living tissue and they change and grow. Doctors and technologies can use machines to see bones in our bodies and to help treat, repair or replace broken or diseased bones.

The Entrance Bridge The Entrance Bridge
Cross the bridge and explore five activity areas, plus an oversized model of a bone.
The Home The Home
Cultures around the world use bones as tools, games, jewelry, musical instruments and artwork. Skeletons are important symbols in many celebrations and ceremonies.

Think about a career in bones!
No bones aobut it! You can have a career in teaching fitness and nutrition or helping people with broken or diseased bones. Check out the photos of doctors, dieticians and trainers throughout the gallery and find out if you might have a future in bones!
