GOALS
AND OBJECTIVES:
| 1. |
To
create a traveling exhibition that informs the public
about bones; the science of bones, maintenance of healthy
bone structures, treatment of diseases related to bones,
and the cultural/artistic uses of bones. |
| 2. |
To
create an exhibit on bones that supports curriculum in
the formal education arena. |
| 3. |
To
create an exhibit on bones by partnering with organizations
and individuals in the community that have a strong commitment
to the public in relation to providing information and
assistance in maintaining bone health and in the treatment
of bone disease. |

Consult
with a variety of doctors from the community who work
in the field of bone treatment and/or research. |
|
Consult
with staff from other organizations in the community,
including Eli Lilly & Co., the National Institute
for Fitness and Sport, Ortho Indy and The Ruth Lilly Health
Education Center and others to provide schools with healthy
lifestyle information. |

Incorporate
research from The Traveling Exhibits report, 1997
