THE LAZY MAN WHO WANTED TO BE A COW Instead of going to work, he would stay at home and think about doing nothing. He liked to doing nothing at all, and that's when he got the idea that if he were a cow, that's all he would have to do - nothing!
When he put it on, he instantly became a cow. The old man sold him to a farmer and told him not to give a radish to this cow because it might kill him.
When he ate the radish up he turned back into a human again and he became a very diligent man indeed! This story teaches us that nothing can be ours without any efforts. |
A long time ago there lived a very lazy man who hated to work. In the morning when it was time to wake up, his wife would ask him to go chop wood for the stove but he would lie in bed and go back to sleep. 
He thought the cow lived a very easy life sitting under the tree always and so he wished to become a cow. Then one day, an old man appeared before him and game him a cow mask. 
After being a cow for some time, the lazy man realized that nobody had an easy life and regretted his laziness. He also regretted giving up his position as a human. Then he decided to die and went to the radish field.
