THE MAGIC MILLSTONE
Once upon a time, there was a magic millstone that could produce anything for which owner asked. One day, a very greedy person stole it. Then he ran to the harbor and jumped on a boat to quickly make his escape over the sea.
On the boat, because he became very curious about the magic power of the millstone, he decided to experiment. At that time, salt was a very precious and expensive commodity.
Therefore, he asked for salt. And the magic millstone produced salt, grain after grain after grain and in no time at all there were piles of salt everywhere on his boat!s
The greedy man did not know the command to stop the millstone from producing salt and he soon sank under the sea with his sinking ship and the millstone. And the millstone is still making salt water to this day. That is the reason why the sea is so salty.
