Good
guess, but this tooth is long, curved, and very sharpjust right for
ripping and tearing meat. So it must have belonged to a carnivorous
(meat-eating) dinosaur. Since this tooth is six inches long, it could belong
to only one dinosaurTyrannosaurus Rex.
![]() This tooth belonged to a Hadrosaur, an herbivore (plant-eater). It's broad and flat, for grinding up plant matter. |
![]() Human teeth are both flat and pointy, so we can eat both meat and plants. That makes us omnivores. |
With
so many predators
out there, you have to use your head to survive! Compare this dinosaur skull
with a human skull. How do you think this dinosaur protected itself from predators?
