Nodosaurus (NOHD-uh-sawr-us)

Nodosaurus belonged to a family of Cretaceous dinosaurs called the Nodosauridae. It lived in what is now Wyoming and Kansas and was approximately 5.5 meters in length. The skull of this dinosaur has not yet been found, but we do know it had a short neck and a long clubless tail. Thick, bony plates covered the body. Scientists do not know whether or not spikes were a part of this armor.
