Visitors will be able to enjoy a sampling of theatre-related artifacts from the ethnographic and American collections of The Children's Museum. Through displays of theatre-related artifacts visitors can learn that theatre is everywhere. People throughout time have done theatre. People around the world do theatre.

Visitors will also be able to explore artifact cases themed to ideas like "Masks and Mime," and "What's the big idea?"

Think about it, ideas for stories are all around us. Shakespeare said, "All the world's a stage." He was right. There are ideas and characters for plays all around us. Everyday life has dialogue, conflict and action, just like a play. Use your imagination and you can turn an idea into a play.
