Men at some time are masters of their fate:
The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings.

Theatre Onstage
Let's put on a play! What do you need? You start with a good story written as a script. You've got to have actors. You need an audience. And a place to do the play. We'll give visitors some of the tools, and a place to do some play acting of their own onstage.

In the gallery's central theatre area, visitors can explore live theatre activities facilitated by museum staff. Or they might create their own short theatricals, try their hand at designing a set using a variety of "flats." Or visitors can watch short plays put on by contract performers sharing their creative skills, and encouraging visitors to take part as well.

The theatre will also feature a video interpretation that invites visitors to do some acting warm-up exercises. Another video interpretation teaches stage directions by challenging visitors to become set pieces themselves and move to different locations onstage.
