A Superpowered Experience and a Superpower Showdown!
In spring of 2013 The Children's Museum paired superpowered heroes from pop culture, literature, myths, and legends creating an ultimate Superpower Showdown. Online and onsite visitors were able to vote to decide which superpower should make it to the final round. The showdown engaged fans young and old and ultimately resulted in more than half-a-million votes from around the world!

The digital voting was brought to life with a temporary Superheroes exhibit displaying rare costumes and artifacts connecting mythological and literary objects from the museum’s vast 120,000 artifact collection to pop culture memorabilia on loan from movie studios and private collectors. The onsite experience was here March 16-May 5, 2013.
