Take Me There: Egypt is Now Open!
Travel aboard EgyptAir to the Children's Museum's newest permanent exhibit, Take Me There: Egypt. Learn about modern Egyptian life while visiting a home, shopping at a marketplace, or playing a part in a traditional Egyptian celebration.
The exhibit features a variety of hands-on activities and family learning opportunities. Take Me There: Egypt is the museum's newest permanent gallery. You don't need to call your travel agent or get a passport for your "trip" to modern-day Egypt, just come to The Children's Museum!
Sunday & Monday: 1 & 3 p.m.
Tuesday – Saturday: 10:30 a.m., 12, 1 & 3 p.m.
In Take Me There: Egypt, visitors don't just see Egyptian culture, they can play a part in it! Experience the sebou, a celebration welcoming a new baby to the community. Visit the happy home and be part of the preparations, music and fun! Free tickets required; available at the Lower Level ticket booth.
