Weird Water Works
Did you know that 75% of your body is made up of water? Learn fun facts about water, see color creep up a stalk of celery using adhesion and explore cohesion by competing in a penny game with your family.
Seaweed Taste Test Factory
We provide a snack, you provide the excitement to try it! Water provides an atmosphere that allows such yummy things as rice and seaweed to be grown and/or enhanced. Try our seaweed and rice wraps, and learn how to make some of your own at home.
Float That Boat
Just like at The Children's Museum, you can create a boat and see if it will float! Learn about buoyancy, density and creative assembly while constructing your very own boat to take home.
Pond Life
What lives in a pond that you can't see? Discover the many critters that live in pond water using our video microscope and laptop projector. The pond water comes directly from our ScienceWorks pond, and is guaranteed to contain millions of wonders for eyes to ponder!
Grow Seed Grow
Water helps all things grow and seeds are no exception. See how a seed germinates thanks to water. Then plant your own seeds to take home and nurture in a Jiffy Pelletâ. What will your seed be—a carrot, flower, watermelon or something else? Only time will tell!
Dew Drop Chronicles
Explore the possibilities of water through books. Enjoy reading stories about marine life, or simply browse through water experiment books.
