| 8.11.1 |
Identify a wide variety of professions related to art such as: fashion designers, advertisers, web designers, interior designers/decorators, landscape designers, architects.
After spending some time in the gallery, ask the students what kinds of art related careers they think are present in this kind of setting. Help them to think outside of the box, pointing out the graphics, design of the space and the lighting, etc. |

| 8.12.2 |
Examine and critique art at local museums, galleries, performance centers, or exhibitions in the community.
Allow the students to spend some time just enjoying the works of art in the space. Afterwards have the student collectively and individually critique the art they see. |

| 8.13.2 |
Create works (artwork, debates, critiques, journals) that communicate in-depth knowledge gained through the power of integrated study.
At the Art Activity Tables give your students the opportunity to use dinosaurs, the fossils found, and information in Dinoshpere to begin to make a work of art. Use this as the basis of their integrated piece later on. Have them analyze how combining the two disciplines, art and science can enhance their knowledge about dinosaurs. There are also labels to read in the gallery that reinforce this concept. |
