![]() Introduction A great discovery has been made! People all over the world are talking about the most complete specimen of a female gorgosaur ever found. However in all the excitement, there's a mystery that must be solved by you, the expert paleontologist. In the paleontology lab as you wipe the old bones clean with your brush, you notice something strange. The bones of the skull are normally smooth, but this one has a large bump. For some reason, one leg is shorter than the other. Did these injuries cause the gorgosaur's death, or did this dinosaur live with these injuries during his lifetime? What can you guess about this gorgosaur and what can you say with certainty about his life? You will need to sort through the clues, draw conclusions, and solve the mystery. You will need to look for evidence to support your findings. Since there is so much evidence to uncover, you will need to work quickly! Make sure that you are checking what you are finding with known scientific facts. Work carefully! Are you ready to start? Click on "Task" to learn your job. |
