Vampire Vacation Haunted House Opens at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis on October 15
This fall, two young vampires – siblings Vic and Viv – will embark on an adventure like no other. Their destination is The Children's Museum of Indianapolis Guild's Haunted House, and you're invited on this Vampire Vacation!
Join us at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis Oct. 15-31 for the 48th year of the Guild's largest annual fundraiser. Last year's event raised over $500,000 for The Children's Museum. It was voted one of the nation's top 10 haunted houses for Halloween by Rand McNally, adding to the museum's reputation as one of Indianapolis' top tourist attractions.
This year, Vic and Vivs' Vampire Vacation includes American tourist hot spots such as Count Rushmore, the Ghoulish Gate Bridge, Horrorwood, Moon-hattan and New Gore-leans. These are just a few of the “dead-stinations” on their trip.
Presented by PNC Bank, The Children’s Museum Haunted House includes both IPL Lights-On Hours for younger children and Defender Direct’s Frightening Hours for those who dare to be scared.
IPL Lights-On Hours feature friendly-faced “haunters” greeting visitors with treats as they work their way through the house. Defender Direct’s Frightening Hours are a more traditional haunted house experience with scary haunters hidden in the shadows ready to deliver a scare.
Each version of the Haunted House is offered at different times to accommodate children of all ages and scare-levels. A full list of times is available below.
