3 Things You Can Do While the Outdoor Sports Experience Is Closed for the Season

Another season of the outdoor areas of the Riley Children's Health Sports Legends Experience® is in the record books! We ran, jumped, shot, served, passed, tackled, climbed, swung, caught, putted, and raced our hearts out this season. And visits from area sports stars helped make this outdoor season even more memorable.

This season was...LEGENDARY.

Because of the unpredictable nature of the weather during late fall and all winter, it's necessary to close the outdoor sports experience areas for a season. Not only is it safer for the public, but it also gives our staff the opportunity to provide annual maintenance and improvements to the outdoor experiences. That way, the Riley Sports Legends Experience® will be ready for another extraordinary season when the outdoor areas reopen in the spring.

It's a win-win situation, really.

Keep playing indoors all off-season long!

While the outdoor areas are closed for the off-season, three indoor sports exhibits are open all year and they're included with the cost of general admission. Along with exploring the museum's five floors of fun, you and your family can continue to practice in these indoor sports experience during the cold winter months.
