The museum’s new exhibit, TRANSFORMERS: Robots in Disguise™, celebrates 30 thrilling years of these powerhouse changing robots that are an intergenerational favorite. From awesome good guys to outrageous bad guys. . . they’re all coming to The Children’s Museum! You’ll see evil Decepticon leader Megatron, his archrival the wise Optimus Prime, and the Autobot army, featuring beloved characters like Bumblebee and Grimlock. The exhibit spans the TRANSFORMERS universe, from Generation 1, which debuted in 1984, to the characters from Hasbro’s new animated series, TRANSFORMERS: Robots in Disguise, debuting in Spring 2015!
Inside the exhibit you will:
- Immerse yourself in the TRANSFORMERS universe
- See rare and collectible Transformers toys, comics, memorabilia, and film props
- Enter the design studio and discover the TRANSFORMERS design process
- “Choose Your Team,” with featured photo ops with Optimus Prime and Megatron
- Virtually become Bumblebee through a unique interactive experience
- Join in hands-on workshops in Autobot Central, while watching vintage commercials and cartoons
