What to Expect in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Exhibit | The Children's Museum of Indianapolis

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming! ...And they want YOU to learn Turtles teamwork in the first-EVER museum exhibit featuring these four heroes in a half-shell! The all-new exhibit, Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer, is at The Children's Museum through April 10, 2016.

Hang on to your shells, everybody! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arrive Sept. 26, and these crime-fighting Heroes in a Half Shell are bringing with them teamwork, problem-solving, humor, and mad ninja skills! Generations of fans have loved these four iconic brothers who have been rocking it with their teamwork since 1984.

The exhibit will feature immersive environments familiar to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans, including the sewer lair, Splinter’s Dojo, and Donatello’s workshop. And there will be plenty of hands-on, interactive challenges for your family’s team to take on in the streets of New York City!

In this turtle-y awesome exhibit designed for fun-lovers of all ages, you can:

Visit the Dojo, where Splinter and Raphael will show ninjas-in-training the value of hard work, practice, and knowing your enemy. Within the Dojo, students train in physical skills like balance, speed, and reflexes, while in Splinter’s Room you can focus on how to apply your knowledge.

Hang out in the Common Room, where the Turtles play games, watch TV, and use a periscope that lets the team keep an eye on the New York streets above! Leonardo will help you focus on careful planning and on the intellectual challenges of being a team leader.
Problem-solve in Donatello’s lab, where circuit board puzzles produce lights, sounds, and views of hidden toy dioramas when successfully solved. A plinko-style board lets families experiment with different ways to get mutagen safely into its storage jar.
Demonstrate your rad reflexes with Mikey, who's here to show off the fun side of the team’s training routine! Try out Mikey’s pizza-making game, shred it up on the balance boards, connect miniature sewer pipes to solve a puzzle, and take a quiz to answer the question—"Which Turtle Are You?"
Explore the streets of New York City while you work to defeat the Kraang and the Foot Clan! Guided by other Turtles team members—from bat-wielding Casey Jones to ninja-in-training, April O’Neill—families work together to help the Turtles crack codes, maneuver through an alley rope maze, bash bad guys with a pizza thrower, and take on a videogame challenge.

Inventor Workshop with Donnie, where you can use teamwork and a variety of objects found in the sewers to help this inventive turtle find a solution to finish his newest invention, a spy bot!
Team Building Challenge. Are you ready to advance your ninja skills? As a team, you'll navigate a course of mental and physical challenges, earning a puzzle piece at each station so that you can find a hidden message from Splinter.
Ninja Academy, where you can help the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fight evil on the streets of New York City by practicing the methodology and moves of ninjutsu before being called to put them together in a flash mob to scare away evil Shredder.
