The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis Ranked #1 in the Nation Once Again

Tuesday, May 12, 2020

Plaza dinos at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis at nightAs families dream about the day they can get back out into public areas and share quality time together, Parents magazine ranked The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis as the Best Children’s Museum in the nation for 2020!

The article states: “The excitement starts in the parking garage where kids spot a dinosaur bursting out of the wall. Five floors of one-of-a-kind exhibits, including an interactive steam train and 800 fossils from a Wyoming Dig, make this museum interesting for all ages, says judge Kimberly Milnes, whose husband loved a Star Trek exhibit when it was there.”

A panel of 24 journalists and influencers including editors from Parents, Travel & Leisure, Family Travel Forum, Traveling Mom, Taking the Kids and more reviewed a long list of candidates to make their final decisions. Today, Parents Magazine Family Travel Awards announced the best in the travel and tourism industry in a variety of categories including: accommodations, destinations, zoos and aquariums, monuments, national parks, theme parks, science centers and of course children’s museums.

Parents is the leading voice for a community of more than 15 million moms and dads who are engaged and inspired by the brand’s trusted content.

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is proud to partner with Riley Children’s at Indiana University Health, Old National Bank and Ice Miller LLP.
