The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis has made the difficult decision to extend its temporary closure through April 10, 2020. The health and safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers remains our top priority. We can only be leaders in family learning and provide your family with memorable experiences if we keep our community healthy. We will continue to closely monitor the Indiana Department of Health, the CDC, and the federal government in order to make informed and strategic decisions.
In this time of uncertainty, the museum is committed to continuing to bring its mission of family learning to families. Educators and family experience teams are hard at work creating content that families can access via the museum’s website and social media channels. It is called the Museum at Home program and includes ideas for at-home science experiments, fitness activities, live chats with museum experts, virtual tours of the museum and more.
