Forest covers 31% of the world’s land surface and Indiana used to be 90% forest. Learn how scientists are working to protect this valuable economic and environmental resource. Project Learning Tree (PLT) is an environmental education program that uses the forest as a “window on the world.”

  • Participate in selected PLT activities and take home PLT’s PreK–8 Environmental Education Activity Guide with 96 lessons and additional suggestions on how to integrate the museum’s Dow AgroSciences ScienceWorks exhibit, PLT, and environmental education into your curriculum.
