Put on your investigative caps, and be prepared to go beneath the surface of what you think you know about dinosaurs. Explore prehistoric pathologies, and determine what happened to the dinosaurs. Learn how one little bone, visible in our Bucky skeleton, makes such a difference in our understanding of dinosaur development.

• Investigate coprolite to determine what the dinosaur ate
• Explore trace fossils
• Discover how animals, even dinosaurs, used color.

This program needs some savvy scientists to crack the case, we hope you are one of them!

*Homeschool programs have been moved to a virtual, kit-based format through March 2021. One kit per student is recommended. Families can choose to pick up their kits at the museum or have them shipped for an additional fee. The day of the program, participants will meet on Zoom for a 20-minute activity led by museum staff, walk through all of the activities in the kits, be given time to complete kit activities and ask questions, and conclude with a wrap-up at the end.
