The Museum Apprentice Program is a leadership development and skill-building program for teens ages 13–18. Program participants, known as MAPs, work together on various projects and volunteer opportunities related to The Children’s Museum throughout the year. MAPs also have opportunities to work alongside museum staff, peek behind the scenes, and more!
Applications for the 2026–27 program year are open until May 31, 2026.
The program runs from late August to May. Selected participants must attend two meetings at the museum each month (approximately five hours a month) during the fall and spring semesters. Meetings take place one Saturday morning and one Wednesday evening per month. Students must also volunteer with the museum at least once each semester.
Applications for the 2026–27 program year are open until May 31, 2026.
