What You'll Do

A lot of the tools we use on Earth just don't work right in the low-gravity environment of the space station. Be an engineer and re-design inventions that will allow astronauts to drink liquids, exercise, or even get a hair cut in this hands-on activity! In this session you will:

• Learn about the challenges that astronauts face when doing everyday activities on the space station.
• Brainstorm ideas that can help the astronauts overcome those challenges.
• Experience what it is like to design and create tools for use in space.

Can you imagine how to help an astronaut get a hair cut, drink some water, or stay in shape?
