Changes to the 2021 Countdown to Noon

We’re beyond excited to ring in 2022 with you at Countdown to Noon!

In response to the current environment and out of an abundance of caution, we’re making a few changes to help keep everyone safe. Here’s what you need to know:

  • The countdown has been moved from the Water Clock to the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever Basketball Experience in the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience®.
    • Be sure to check the weather (current predictions say it will be mild and rather lovely) and come prepared for an exciting outdoor celebration with Zak Morgan!
    • Doors to the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends ExperienceⓇ will open at 11 a.m.
    • Countdown celebrations begin at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • Other indoor Countdown to Noon activities will be moved to the Sunburst Atrium, allowing for additional room for social distancing.

Please note:

  • The other outdoor sports areas will not be open for outdoor play. The Basketball Experience will only be open for Countdown to Noon.
  • All visitors 2 and older must wear a mask or face covering over their nose and mouth while indoors at the museum. Visitors are not required to wear a mask or face covering when visiting the outdoor areas of the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience®.
  • Museum admission or current membership is required to attend the Countdown to Noon celebration. We recommend purchasing advance tickets here

We’re looking forward to celebrating the new year with you!
