Highlights from SpeedFest 2024

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, our outdoor sports wonderland was converted into a high-energy racing wonderland,  full of speed-related games, Indy 500 princesses, live music, the ever-popular member baby race, live music, and the 3rd running of the Foyt 500.

• Beat the Buzzer in the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever Basketball Experience
• How Many Passes? in the Indianapolis Colts Football Experience
• Race Against Wilma Rudolph in the Jane and Steve Marmon Run-Walk Experience
• Milk Bottle Scavenger Hunt
• Guess Your Speed Pitching Challenge in Wiese Field

NU80 provided the ultimate `80s experience, playing your favorite synth-pop hits of the 1980s.

Pedal car qualifying heats and the 3rd running of the Foyt 500 race ran throughout the day, with competitive opportunities for kids of all ages!

SpeedFest 2024 was the perfect prelude to May—the month leading up to the greatest specatcle in racing! Stay tuned for information about SpeedFest 2025 and the 4th running of the Foyt 500—a memorable kids race day in Indianapolis!

Of course, you don't have to wait for SpeedFest to give our pedal cars a test run. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Pedal Car Racetrack Experience inside the Riley Children's Health Sports Legends Experieince® is open through Nov. 1, 2024, and included with museum admission. Please note that closed-toe shoes are required to use our pedal cars. All outdoor experiences are weather dependent. What are you waiting for?
