Preschool/PreK
Playscape®: Experiencing Art Together
Sept.-Dec. 2025 | This program is a guided experience in the Playscape® Art Studio. Students will participate in a visual literacy lesson where they will make observations about a piece of real artwork. Next, students will use that work of art as inspiration to create their own masterpiece using a variety of artist’s tools and mediums.

Playscape®: Making Music Together
Jan.-May 2026 | This program is a guided experience in the Playscape® Music Studio. A facilitator will lead students in musical activities using instruments, their voices, and bodies that incorporate tune, beat, and movement: three key areas of musical development for young children.

Playscape®: Self-guided Visit
All Preschool and PreK field trip groups can enjoy self-guided play in the Playscape® gallery between 9:45 a.m.–11 a.m. Tues.–Fri. Show your field trip stickers with the Playscape® logo at the greeter cart to enter.
Program Schedule
Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:45 and 10:15 a.m.
Duration
Each program is 15-20 minutes.
Capacity
20 students per program session.
Location
Playscape® is located on Level 3. The art and music studios are located inside the gallery.
Self-guided play
Preschools registered for a Playscape® program can also enjoy self-guided play in the gallery between 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m., before and after their program.
Chaperones
One adult is required for every five students for preschool field trips.
