Bridging Gaps and Building Dreams Through Access Pass

Can you imagine a world where all children are inspired and empowered to realize their potential? We can. And we believe museums and other cultural institutions play a crucial role in helping children explore, dream, create, engage, and learn—reaching their fullest potential in the world.

Studies show that children who have access to museums do better in math, science, and reading across social and economic demographics. Young people who engage in the arts have more tolerance and empathy for those around them and have lower school dropout rates. The future is full of global issues that require the kind of global perspective encouraged at museums and other cultural institutions.

We started the Access Pass program in 2004 to provide these life-changing experiences to as many Indiana children and their families as possible. Eligible families can visit participating Access Pass institutions for the deeply-discounted price of just  just $5 per family member per visit, impacting thousands of families throughout the Hoosier State. The program has grown significantly over the past 20 years, with a total of 21 participating cultural instutions across Indiana.
