Virtual Homeschool: Mistakes that Worked
Hit up the fridge, the garage, and even your playroom to discover some mistakes that worked. Humans are so great at celebrating success, that we sometimes forget some of our greatest discoveries were once failures!
- Explore the flops that morphed into fun
- Use your science, engineering, and design skills in new and creative ways.
- Follow us into the lab, and remember, it isn’t always a success the first time but that is what drives our learning.
Making mistakes has never been more fun!
This is a kit-based program, in which families can choose to pick up their kits at the museum or have them shipped at an additional fee. The day of the program, participants will meet on Zoom for a 20 minute activity led by museum staff, then walk through all of the activities in the kit, have time to complete the kit activities and ask questions, before concluding with a wrap-up at the end.
Virtual Program Kit Pick-up Times: 10-11 a.m. and 4-5 p.m. on May 12 and 18
