Fairy Garden
Celebrate Earth Day in Miniature Style!
April 18 | 1-2:30 p.m. | Ticket Required
This event is taking place on Earth Day, a museum-wide event. If you buy admission tickets for the day, additional free activities will be taking place throughout the museum to celebrate.
What You'll Do
You will receive all the materials to create a Fairy Garden. This garden starts with a base filled with real dirt, rocks, and seeds. Then you will design a fairy house, landscape, and decor with miniature flair using tiny supplies like buttons, clothespins, pipe cleaners, mushrooms, corks, and more. Magical details will be added with paint, glitter, hot glue, and imagination.
Where You'll Go
This event takes place in our classroom workshop space located on Level 1. We will meet in the Welcome Center and walk over together as a group.
