We Let the Good Times Roll at After Dark: Mardi Gras Masquerade
We threw a Mardi Gras event like none other in the city!
Music, food, art, and play came together for After Dark: Mardi Gras Masquerade, a vibrant 21+ event only at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.We let the good times roll with curated experiences throughout the museum, themed food and drink, free bourbon tasting, free hot sauce samples, live music by GrooveSmash, a second line parade, and the chance to act like a kid again in select exhibits.

Food & Drinks
New Orleans themed food and drinks for purchase—including specialty cocktails—plus free bourbon tasting and free hot sauce tasting were avaialble throughout the night. Some favorites included:
- The After Dark—citrus vodka, peach schnapps, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and light up ice cubes
- Shrimp Po' Boy Burger Sliders—cornmeal breaded shrimp burger
- Gumbo Flatbreads—made with andouille sausage, holy trinity and creole seasoning
- Bananas Foster
- Beignets
