Designed by expert museum educators, our curriculum-based topics blend creativity and learning through engaging subjects like innovative art, hands-on STEM, archaeology, dinosaurs, and more.

Unique Materials
Participants use supplies not easily found at home, sparking curiosity and providing opportunities to engage with tools and resources that extend beyond everyday experiences.

Multimodal Learning
The program begins with a guest presentation or demonstration, followed by independent exploration of related activities. This approach engages multiple senses and learning styles to enhance understanding, motivation, and inclusivity.

• Check in takes place in the Welcome Center and begins 15 minutes prior to the program start time. Participants are escorted to the program space by a museum staff member.
• Sessions begin with a 20–30 minute special guest presentation or a hands-on, facilitator-led activity. Past guests have included acclaimed artists like Rebecca Robinson, Kyng Rhodes, Beatriz Vásquez, and Ess McKee; scientists and engineers such as Dr. Carlotta Berry and Walker Smith; and paleontologists from our expert Paleo team—offering unique insights and inspiring experiences across disciplines.
• Sessions conclude with 60–70 minutes of self-directed exploration through a variety of themed activity stations set up around the classroom. Instructors circulate to offer support, answer questions, and occasionally lead activities to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
• Program wrap-up.

Homeschool groups that have at least 20 people will receive the school rate. The school rate only applies to Indiana schools.
