Spring Break 2014: Something New for Everyone Including A Birthday Bash of “Dino” Proportions

It’s the 10th birthday of Dinosphere and there is no better time to host a big bash than spring break!

It’s a party that started 77 million years ago and continues daily through April 6, 2014.   Within the next week, you can put on your party hats and join our decorated dinosaurs, which will be “breaking” out of The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis with their own hats and a habitat made to look like a giant birthday cake (see artist rendering to the left).Visitors can make a wish and pretend to blow out the giant candles above the dinosaurs heads.

“Spring vacation is traditionally a time for families to take a break from the stress of winter, work and school to reconnect and bond.  The Children’s Museum enhances that special time by providing new, exciting, fun and extraordinary learning experiences for families,” said Dr. Jeffrey H. Patchen, president and CEO, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
