We have made the difficult decision to extend our temporary closure until further notice. The health and safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers remains our top priority. We look forward to opening the museum's doors and seeing you again soon. Until then, since you can't come to us, we'll come to you with Museum at Home.
Registration is now open!

Mission of The Children's Museum Preschool
Inspired by the philosophies of Reggio Emilia and Maria Montessori, The Children's Museum Preschool collaborates with children, families, and museum colleagues to support the natural curiosity and potential for young learners through observation, intentional planning, and active exploration of materials and the environment. Read our Frequently Asked Questions.
Take Learning to a New Level
Children are naturally curious. They ask questions. They investigate. As children begin to explore topics that interest them, they'll think critically and increase their understanding of the world around them. Math and language development happens naturally and problem-solving occurs logically through play and interaction.
During museum gallery time, children learn by handling real objects and artifacts, talking with experts, and exploring dynamic and engaging spaces focused on the arts, physical and natural sciences, and the humanities.
When you ask your child what he or she did in school today, be prepared for some wonderful answers!
