Banish your "bah humbugs" and celebrate the season at the Indiana Repertory Theatre! A Christmas Carol shines a light on the power of kindness and love in this uplifting tale of one man’s journey to redemption. As the weather turns cold, warm your heart with story and song at the IRT.

Hop on the Snowfall Express to journey through the forest populated by animals celebrating the coming winter and first snowfall. Late autumn and winter scenes come alive with charming, whimsical characters, movement, and music. After your snowy train ride, you’ll enjoy annual favorites including visits with Santa, activities in Santa’s Front Yard, the 92 County Tree, Santa’s Holiday Breakfast, lunch in the L.S. Ayres Tea Room™ and much more. Entry to Celebration Crossing is included in the price of museum admission.

Winterlights at Newfields
Now–Jan. 7, 2024

For the seventh year, Winterlights with its music and laughter, fill the air at Newfields all holiday season. Enjoy lights under your feet and twinkling overhead at the very tips of 100-year-old trees. New this year, The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, led by Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly, provides the perfect symphonic soundtrack for a dazzling synchronized display in front of Lilly House. Selections include the musical theme of the Holly Jolly Dollies from the AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration, featuring a lively swing arrangement of the Nutcracker.

New Year’s Eve at WonderLab

Skip the late bedtime and celebrate New Year’s Eve at WonderLab. Staying up to midnight is not always easy or practical for young people, but at WonderLab they can have fun, learn about the science of astronomical events, and put an educational spin on numerous NYE traditions. Bring your little ones for an early evening party with the countdown clock concluding at 5pm. Join in for New Year’s Eve themed festivities, activities and lots of hands-on science to ring in 2024!
